This tree is a Sophora Japonica which is growing in Paris at the Jardin des Plantes. It was brought in 1747 by a French Jesuit Father, Pierre Nicholas le Chéron d'Incarville, as little seed which named was not known (one Chinese tree). It was sowed and now it is a very beautiful and big tree. And everybody know its species, other name : Japanese pagoda tree, arbre de miel. The scientific name : Styphnolobium japonicum. Often grown around Buddhist temples in the Orient. End of August, white flowers appears.
